SUMMARY:Black Dragon Technical Dive
DESCRIPTION:The Black Dragon was an old Chinese fishing vessel 128 feet in length\, that was involved in the smuggling of illegal immigrants to the West Coast at the end of 1999. It was being towed from Barkley Sound to Ladysmith on December 9\, 2003\, for disposal when it sank off Johnstone reef in Haro Strait. The charted depth is 46 meters (150 feet). We will dive the wreck to record its condition and collect some photos.

SUMMARY:Cowper Wreck Search
DESCRIPTION:The clipper ship Cowper struck a rock northwest of Tumbo Island November 21\, 1869\, and was lost. The UASBC has searched for this wreck a few times without success. We will continue the search diving at locations we haven’t previously visited. We may experience a bit of current\, but this dive is suitable for all open water divers. We will depart from Sidney for this trip.
